MSD is a global pharmaceutical company with over 130 years of tradition. The company has been present in Poland for 33 years. MSD Poland currently has over 150 clinical trials open with nearly 4000 patients. The company has the status of a Research and Development Center granted to it over the last three years by the Minister of Development and Technology.

The key areas of clinical trials conducted by MSD are:

1. oncological diseases,
2. cardiovascular diseases (heart failure, hyperlipidemia, pulmonary arterial hypertension),
3. vaccines for diseases caused by dangerous viruses such as HPV, RSV, pneumococci,
4. antimicrobial treatment (bacterial and fungal infections, Covid-19, HIV),
5. autoimmune diseases (lupus, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease).
